McKenzie County Public Schools is pleased to announce that every student will receive FREE Breakfast & Lunch for the entire 20-21 school year. This includes all students, no matter their income level or if they are in the classroom or taking part in distance learning.

The free meals come via funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), as the country continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. It is an extension of the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Free meals will last through June 30th, 2021.

Grab-n-Go/Ala carte items are available at an extra charge to the students.  These items are not included in the free meal choice.  Grades 6-12 have these items available to them and they will use their lunch number to account for the purchases.  These lunch accounts need to maintain a positive balance to use this privilege.

It is the goal of MCPSD Nutrition Services to ensure that all students have access to meals during the school year. School meals are essential to student health and well-being and ensure that students have the nutrition they need throughout the day to learn.
