Late Start

The McKenzie County Public School District #1 will implement a late start and begin school at 10:00 AM today, February 18th, 2026, for all school buildings due to current winter weather and road conditions. The doors of all school buildings will open at 9:20 AM and breakfast will be offered to students. Buses will run where possible; Harlow's Bus Service will use the Bus Bulletin system to notify specific bus route families of possible changes to routes, please check the website for revised bus pick-up times due to the late start. The school district may adjust its plan based on changing conditions; any changes will be communicated in the same manner as this alert.
