Summer Weight Training Starts June 3rd!
We’re excited to launch our summer training program for middle and high school students! Reminder, registration is for those going into 6th-12th grade. Here’s everything you need to know to come prepared and make the most of each session:
All sessions held at the high school in the downstairs weight room.
Each session includes:
- 20 minutes of field work (speed & agility)
- 40 minutes of strength training
What to Bring/Wear for Success (ALL STUDENTS):
- Tennis shoes (required in the weight room)
- Cleats optional for field work—but must be removed indoors
- Athletic attire (t-shirts, shorts, joggers, etc.)
- Water bottle – stay hydrated!
- Layers or sweatshirt for cooler mornings
- Sunscreen & bug spray – the bugs love the turf
- Hats/sunglasses allowed for sunny sessions
- Eat beforehand – a snack helps fuel your workout
- Gatorade provided at the end of each session
- Asthma? Bring inhalers and let staff know of any triggers
Middle School Training Details:
- Tuesdays & Thursdays starting June 3rd
- Session 1: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- NEW Session 2: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
